4 stars only b/c the night pictures are a little grainier than I expected. Personally, I would still buy this camera again even knowing that. Takes excellent color photo/video during the day. I love the on camera LCD viewing screen. That makes aiming the camera, reviewing photos and modifying settings simple. There are also more settings than I''''m used to with cheaper model cameras. It''''s been in the field for 2 weeks and so far I absolutely love this camera.
