This is an excellent round for target shooting and small game hunting. I only rated it 4 stars because I prefer the Hornady 20 gr bullet since it seems to be more accurate in my Ruger 77/17 rifle. I bought 10 boxes of the 17 gr because the 20 gr was not available. I just need to resight my scope for the 17 and I''ll be good to go. Maybe the 20 gr will be available for my next buy.

Good price for good ammo. Shipped quick. Had to ship to a fed ex store to pick up because delivery required a signature. Some other ammo sites don''t. Would problaly use the gun source again.

Great ammo for my heavy barrel 10/22 mag .17HMR conversion. Tight 1/2 groups at 100 yards, groups open up at 200 yards even with the slightest breeze, but were still a reasonable 2-1/2. This grouped the best of all brands available.

This ammo seems as good as any other Hornady ammo that I have used!
The only negative is that the plastic tips cause some jamming, even in a bolt action rifle!

TRIED IT OUT YESTERDAY AND IT SHOT WELL AND FUNCTIONED WELL IN MY MOSSBURG 17HMR WHICH IS MORE THAN I COULD SAY ABOUT FEDERAL AMMO . I BELIEVE IT IS THE CLIPS FAULT THOUGH. WILL BUY MORE OF THESE SOON.
